BOSSA Time Lapse POE is a web-based survey tool to assess occupants' satisfaction with the IEQ performance of their office building. BOSSA Time Lapse POE has been developed with an integrated, flexible branching structure. The survey should take less than ten minutes to be completed by building occupants.

OUR BOSSA TIME-Lapse POE REPORT

Our BOSSA Time-Lapse POE report is designed to capture the satisfaction scores from buildings occupants on the main IEQ core items. The report focuses on base building and tenancy scores. Results from our BOSSA Time-Lapse POE can be used by building owners, tenants and designers for building diagnostics and/or IEQ ratings.

An innovative aspect of the BOSSA system is a systematic collation of building descriptive information that enables the research team to use the BOSSA database to attribute occupant satisfaction/dissatisfaction to specific features of the building design, fit-out, or building services technology.

BOSSA Building Metrics is used in combination with our BOSSA Time-Lapse POE and BOSSA Snap-Shot questionnaires. Our BOSSA Building Metrics comes as an application for tablet devices for in situ data collection and also as a desktop (web link) for remote data collection.

The power of BOSSA Building Metrics at the level of the individual building lies in its ability to identify specific design features, fit-out details or building services prompting occupant dissatisfaction and requiring remediation. The value of this analytic capability will be profoundly amplified at BOSSA’s whole-database scale of analysis, where many buildings sharing the same specific design feature can be grouped together and their occupant ratings on the IEQ dimensions related to that feature can be benchmarked against the remaining buildings in the BOSSA database.

This innovation in the BOSSA approach elevates POE from descriptive building diagnostic aid to a powerful building research tool.
