HIGH RESOLUTION IEQ MEASUREMENTS: BOSSA SNAP-SHOT

Our BOSSA Snap-Shot questionnaire is administered to building occupants with instructions to evaluate the indoor environmental quality of their work area “right-here, right-now.” The BOSSA Snap-Shot questionnaire comes in four independent modules:

The BOSSA Snap-Shot instantaneous IEQ questionnaire is designed to be accompanied by simultaneous objective measurements with our BOSSA Nova Cart on the key IEQ dimensions of indoor air quality, thermal environment, lighting and acoustics.

Matching these "right now" IEQ subjective responses (BOSSA Snap-Shot questionnaire) with the concurrent objective indoor environmental measurements will enable researchers to identify and understand threshold values, acceptability limits, and interactions between IEQ dimensions.

This component of the BOSSA system can be thought of as a "snap-shot" of the building’s performance at a point in time and it is a valuable in-depth research tool for optimizing IEQ design and operations.
